Does such a thing exist in a 73-87 body style?

I've got a few ideas for the next truck...

Not from the factory no, but they are out there. There was a big thread with lots of pics somewhere.

My bassist has a late model ('07 I believe) CCSB. I really like it, but would like to have one in a 73-91 body style.

I did basically answer my own question after some Googling. I found a thread on 73-87chevytrucks.com where someone mentions shortening a CCLB frame for the shorter bed.

Mine would *not* be a dually though...

Like mentioned above not from the factory. Think that was 98 or so....

But it's not really hard to do, 14" between the forward most bed mount and spring hanger, then 5-6" off the back of the frame.

So, are you taking 14" out of the middle of the frame then welding it back together, or...??

There was a pretty nice one for sale on ksl.com about a month ago but as mentioned they are not factory but rather someone has built them. Kinda like the 73-87 extended cabs there are some out there but they wasnt factory.
