front end maybe . . . but the rear . . . to much junk in the trunk .

and the front even has a hint of last model style thunder bird in it .

Do it for Dale! :burnout: flagwaver
I like that truck alot.
I had dreams about buying a old truck series truck and put it on the street long before he did. Not saying it wouldn't be cool, still. But if you did it, you would just be copying Cletus.
Probably the biggest problem with the internet is that it's hard to have an original idea anymore....

There are no truly original ideas anymore. Cleetus copied the Roadkill Vette kart when he built Leroy...what makes Leroy better is it is a incremental and ongoing build and it is light years faster of course. The above the hood turbo kit I saw on Roadkill first too, with the Rotsun, then again with the Aussies at Drag week.

There is a kit body you can buy that is a full, normal looking late 50's or early 60's Vette body. That accepts the entire drivetrain and suspension of either the c4 or c5 Vette as a direct bolt in. An old neighbor of mine was saving for quite a while to get one.... Then got divorced :doah:

Much like the car in the thread.
It all started this this stupid kit you could buy. The 789 Corvette kit.
Everything since is a knockoff...

Who thought a 57 front and a 59 rear globbed onto a corvette chassis was a good idea?

This really reminds me of the VW based "Rolls Royce" body kits of the 70's.

As for the first car...fix that cavern of a licence plate mount, bring it back out and it would be a great modern 53-55 interpretation.
