cross member CONFUSION

Help me. help me. help me.

what transmission crossmember do i need? I have an 1983 reg cab long box. it did have a 700r4 np208, i am currently gathering up the parts to swap it to a sm465 np205. the np205 is the 6 bolt pattern opposed to the figure 8 style.

what style crossmember do i have to use? this is the only thing holding me back from doing the swap.

You need to match the t-case adapter. Since your 205 is a 6 bolt style you'll need a crossmember from an 85-87(91) 1/2 or 3/4 ton truck.

you need the W shaped or S shape crossmember.

I did the same swap on my old truck and can't remember what I used.....I think it was out of an 80s 3/4 ton with drop being on the pass side to clear the t-case.
