OK, I'm not gonna have time to finish the doubler for Memorial Day...

So, I threw the 205 back in until after the big weekend...

Problem is, I had the cross member that has two humps facing down and it's really bent... Not gonna work...

I have a couple of flat cross members, but my adapter is the short one...

I also have one that has a hump facing up and one facing down "S"...

I'm gonna build a new cross member after I put the doubler in, but I need some ideas for a quick fix for the weekend... I'd like to have the cross member up in the frame rails like my Crew Cab with the "S" cross member, but I don't have enough room to get the t-case up high enough...

Anyone have ideas that worked for them that would work for a few days???

Build a flat crossmember with some 2x2 and then use the same to make the mount the proper height. I am not familiar with the 205 mounting. Is it just a foot like the other cases?

Yeah, I've been through the cross member thread... A lot of good ideas...

I plan on building something flat , maybe cut the floor out to really get it up high...

I just have a bunch of stuff left to do before heading to Naches...

I might spend tomorrow cutting up a couple of the stock ones I have and fab up something that will work for this trip...

I was kinda pissed off at it earlier...

But, the beer has calmed my nerves...:D

Did you grab the one on the side of my house? Think I have a couple, can't remember exactly what they were though...

I grabbed the "S" one from your place... I could make it work, but I'll have to change up the exhaust on the drivers side...

Still not sure if I'll have time to fix the trailer...

Just make it work, you can use my trailer... for just a 12er of mesicans :D

Right on, that'll be one less thing to deal with... I'll have the amigos on ice...

I went over to my brother's house and grabbed a bunch of misc metal... Gonna see what I can build for now...

Thinking about solid mounting for the time being... Anyone have an opinion on solid mounting a t-case to the cross member then to the frame???

I don't get any frame flex because of the cage and everything being tied together...

If you need ive got some new bushings, tube and bolts you can use. If you use them in your final design just replace the bushings for my doubler... better safe than sorry.
