does anyone run a system like this? I'm planning on doing a crossover conversion soon, and looking for some feed back on running the tie rod above the springs. Has anyone had any problems with this system? Any info will help...Thanks

My brother did this on his '85 Toy. He has not had any problems with it.
If you need any parts check out Avalanche Engineering...

titanic,
did you notice a difference in tight turns with the loss of ackerman?

I used a Skyjacker brand f-250 4" drop pitman and reamed the hole out so I could use the larger chevy draglink ends. I
use 3/4 chromemoly national rod ends for the actual tierod
Snap-on cat. #R-121 is the reamer I used.

I was told I would notice a difference is tight turns but all I can tell you is I can turn sharper than stock without any bumpsteer what so ever. On a Dana 60 axle -this is the way to go! Steve
