cross over steering???

I am not a fan of the stock sterring on these trucks. My truck is MOSTLY street driven(DD). I was wandering would it be safe to do cross over steering on it? '75 K10 shortbed. Also do I need hydro assist? I am going to running 3/4t axles and 35's. Thanks

Crossover steering is more safe than the stock steering. Don't bother with hydro assist.

I love my crossover steering since I put it in. I don't think you need to bother with the hydro unless you start going up in tire size
