Pulled this from the doubler crossmember thread. Since I don't know who's truck it is, I'm gunna have to ask here. What should I look/ask for....when looking for these rubber bushings that mount the transfer case? Shock bushings? Not the leaf eye ones, the sandwiched ones. :waytogo: Trying to work on my new crossmember, skid, and that good stuff. :D

You may be able to find a shock bushing that's close, but I'd bet those came from us.

We carry them in polyurethane, they're not super expensive.

Just have to either fugure out what bushings are available and build the cradle to those specs or build the cradle and get bushings made to fit what size tube you use. It would be much easier to build it with stock size spring or shock bushings so they are easily replaced if need be. Sounds like ord can help you pretty easily though.

I know, old thread....

Any other puck type options?

Any reason the Energy Suspension 94101 kit in the link wouldn't work for at case mount?

I'm running ORD's polyurethane engine mounts. I don't know their exact hardness but I'd assume as long as they are the same type of material (vs rubber) they should work.

I ended up reusing my factory rubber one, making a new crossmember, and sucking the whole drivetrain into the floor.

With DIY4x engine mounts and my stock rubber mount, everything's been hunky dory for ~4k miles.
