...from the PM you sent me a couple of weeks ago titled "the 85 is history"...... /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif

I've seen both and Sky's don't impress me. Just an inferior part in my mind. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

I said nothing about the different steering options for the hi pinion 60,if i could run this or that, nothing even remotely close to what you are talking about.So...... /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gifGO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN BROTHER!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif/forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif BTW i still have your adress too J/K/forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

[/ QUOTE ] /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif really??? Ok cool, the massive build-up will soon begin /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Oh yeah , if you want to shoot me another ballpark on those heads again when you get the time that would be great /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

na same one, im just gonna go for it all the way, hell i figure a few more parts until the *unvailing* and im there /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifI coulnt find a 69 either. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif The only thing i dont like about the 85 is that you have vacum lines and crap as far as the eye can see.I was shooting for the 1 belt thing, but the right truck never came along.Either way its a win/win situation.I am building this one for my son Jeremy, were gonna tear it up /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

High steer is high steer when comparing the issue of high pinion vs low pinion.
On the Ford 60 the tierod will probably hit the dif cover. Is shouldn't be to bad though maybe even miss depending on the size of the tie rod.
The Ford knuckles are weak when used in a high steer application. I have never seen one break but I also am not around a bunch of Ford axles on a regular basis. Guys on Pirate make it sound like the knuckles are breaking as soon as you put the steering force to them off of the top of the knuckle.
You can buy aftermarket knuckles and get the ford spindle pattern on them.

GM Hi-Pinion?????? where did you find this? Same place that sells 12 bolt fronts? /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

No seriously I thought all GM dana 60 were low pinion. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
