I am building a 87 GMC Jimmy and it has the stock 10 bolt front in it. I would like to do crossover steering but I'm not sure it's possible with that front axle. So I've been doing some searching and I've found some articles that say you can use 44 knuckles on them? Is that right?

Yes. Needs to be a flat top knuckle. Then you have to drill and tap holes for the cross over/high steer arm.

If you have the budget, it might be easier to find the needed combo on Ebay. They will have flat top D44 knuckles already drilled and surfaced, as well as the studs/collars/ and steering arm. I like the keyed arms where they interlock with each other, not just bolt down.
