Crossover in 1st gen ?

I'm to crossover in my 1st gen. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif I understand that I need the 2wd steering box shaft for the pitman arm to go side to side. Can I just use the whole unit from the 2wd? Someone said the hose connections are different but it looks the same to me.

You can use a 2wd box....

I used the shaft as I couldnt get my hoses off... so you could go either way.... taking the shaft out was easy too

Cool. I want to use the 2wd unit cause mine has about a 1/2" of mud and oil caked all over it and the 2wd box is all clean and purty. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
