What year sector box do I need to do crossover to an 86 1 ton. Did a search but didn't get a clear answer. Thanks
George

I bought a complete 2wd box for the same year as the truck. then returned my 4wd as a core. there are 2 different style ends for the hoses, thats why I went with the same year new instead of the junkyard.

I grabbed the entire box from a 78 suburban and it work perfect.
The other thing that is nice is if your get the ones with the smaller spline the cherokee steering shaft fits perfect with no mods.

They went to a metric o-ring style hose end in 1980 (regardless if it's 2 or 4wd). Prior to that I believe it was a SAE size flared fitting.

Anyway, any box from an 80's truck would work.
