so i have a tapped passenger side knuckle with 5" studs. for crossover do you usually use 5" studs? i dont think they make 4" or so spacers do they? and what would be the advantage to using that long of a stud? so to do crossover i need
1. a steering arm
2. drop pitman arm
3. crossover draglink
4. draglink ends
5. spacers
do i even need a spacer block and if so how large? thanks guys

my sky manufacturing arm is like 2 - 3" thick, so i think my studs are pretty long

this is my dana 60 btw

not sure what you mean by spacers but you shouldnt need a spacing block between the arm and knuckle, that seems like a bad idea

i have 9" lift without any issues that need a spacer of any sort

Afaik, the only time you need a spacer is when you are using lifted 52" springs up front. With these the drag link/arm cannot clear the arch of the spring. Otherwise using the typical aftermarket arm you should not need spacer.

I have factory rear 52" spring up front with a 4" lift crossover draglink from ORD. The draglink acts as a limiting strap when I droop the passenger side. It hits the spring. A thicker steering arm on the knuckle would be helpful. I have the ORD arm.

im running 56's up front so i do need a spacer i just dont know how thick of one to use. any recomendations?

yea thats where the spacer goes. see if you buy the crossover package from WFO it comes with a spacer and i think its just for more travel? so you think i can just $hit can the old studs and buy ones only long enough for the steering arm? also do you just use washers and nuts on the steering arm or do you need those cone things?
