I am new to the whole Crossover thing, but definately need it. i understand that many people use a 2 wheel drive box, but why? Is there conflict with something that i'm not aware of? And do all the knuckle parts have to come off of a dana 60? Please help or post suggestions from other threads Thanx!!!:D

Knuckle parts would match your axle, so if you have a D60, then you need D60 parts, and if you have a D44 or 10bolt you'd use the D44 parts.

The 4WD box is keyed so that the pitman arm can only come off the shaft at one position. The 2WD shaft is keyed at 90* steps, so you can put the arm at any of the four points.

For crossover, you want to move the arm to be parallel to the frame rail, as opposed to perpendicular to it, so ... yeah, you need a 2WD box. Otherwise you'd need a totally custom pitman arm or something crazy.
