Can someone take a pic of their truck with a dana 60 and crossover steering with the wheels pointed forward. My truck has the pitman arm running parallel to the frame with the wheels straight ahead and turns one direction all the way to the steering stops, but doesn't turn the other direction hardly at all. I'm not sure where I could have messed up this install. Mainly looking for the pitman arm in relation to the frame, or if you could describe it to me.

Disconnect your draglink and count the turns in your steering box to ensure its centered and readjust the pitman arm accordingly. You may have it off by 90*

take pitman arm off the sector shaft, center steering wheel, make sure wheels are straight ahead, re install pitman arm. you may have to adjust the drag link.

you did install a 2wd sector shaft of box correct?

yes this is a 2wd steering box that I bought reman'd from the parts store. It had 4 flats on the sector shaft. I'll have to recheck the alignment when I get over this cold, I just assumed that the pitman arm had to parallel to the frame, is this the case and I possibly have it off by 90 degrees?

thanks i'll give it a try in the next couple of days. The steering is still frothing up the fluid as well when turning it. I tried to bleed it by jacking up the truck while the motor was off and turning the wheels back and forth probably 50 times. I guess I'll have to keep doing that with the motor running and just shut it off when the fluid gets too air filled and try doing that a few times.

If it has hydro boost brakes you also need to pump the brakes while doing that. The motor also needs to be running. I agree, you probably have the sector shaft in the wrong position.
