I am going to be installing an 8 inch suspension lift on a 1986 k5 my question is if I run 36" tires do I need to run crossover steering?

Personally I would. You could get away with a raised steering arm and drop pitman arm though for a lot cheaper.
What are the intended uses? If its not a go fast super flexy suspension I would say you will be ok.

Steering box braces no matter which style steering you go with. :deal:

just used for general use dont really have any plans for much flexing. maybe some mud if anything.
