Hey,

I was just wondering if the steering knuckles from a dana 44 and gm 10 bolt are interchangable without any problems. I was going to swap knuckles to make X-over steering.

If he's reusing all the same parts, and just changing knuckles, theres no issues with spindles. the ONLY thing you run into is a difference in where the tie-rod attaches

on 10bolt knuckles, the tie-rod attaches from the bottom of the steering arm, on flat tops, it's from above. If you're going to run a tie-rod in the stock location with flat top knuckles, it sits REAL close to the leaf springs. so close you have to put the tie-rod ends into the knuckles, then thread the center piece into them. No room to put the whole assembly in in one piece!
