Is anyone running a crossover with little or no lift? I have 2 1/2" skyjacker springs and I am wondering what pitman arm I would need etc. to clear the springs,or if there are any problems at all with clearance?

Do a search. I can't remember who, may have been a Mod actually, covered this in depth a few months ago. Lots of opinions and the outcome. Check it out.

I have 3" front springs and crossover with no problems. Make sure your draglink is designed for the amount of lift you have.

I believe it was mrk5 who did it

It was mudhog. I believe he ran 2.5 inch springs and x-over before he moved up to 4" springs. It can be done, but you will need bumpstops for sure to prevent spring pitman arm issues on uptravel.

I ran x over for a few years with only 2.5" lift. I ran ORD bent draglink and still had contact with the engine crossmember sometimes. It never was a problem but it scarred up the metal. You can get a High Clearance crossmember or cut your existing one down a bit to clear. I had the factory bumpstops and the Ford pitman arm too!

What the **** is wrong with the forum lately? Everytime I post I have some sort of problems! Sorry about the multiple post, but it won't let me delete them now:mad:

Thanks for the input. I would definitely have to get rid of the original x-member. I have moved the engine 4" back in the frame (since I don't have the blazer body) so I would probably have to fab a custom one.
