The difference is astounding!
I went from 12" of lift with the front-back steering and every correction immagineable: 3" Block, raised arm, dropped Z-shaped drag link, and drop pitman arm. It took a 3 point turn to get that thing into my driveway.
When I went to 52's I put in X-over and the steering response went from "40 year old dump truck" to "ferrari".
My only problem now is I don't have the power to turn the wheels while not moving. I can't wait to get my hydro assist ordered and put in!
Did you put in the bolt-in brace? If not i highly recommend it. Crossover puts tremendous strain on the frame that the stock-style didn't. I got a "Don't ask me how I know" story from a buddy about being hauled out of the woods with the steering box dangling by the hoses attached only to a broken section of frame.
