looks pretty good overall, some of them look like you were going a little to fast tho

woah! you must be a fast learner! I still can't get a good weld, and I've welded probably 10 times before /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

that is like the third thing i have ever welded in my life

Looks about the same as mine. Of course I started off welding a lot of rusted body panels for practice. It's really hard to form a good bead when you're welding rusted sheetmetal. I think I made more holes with my welder than the rust did my first few times. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

Hey if you can get a steady hadn those would be lucious even. I need to get a steady hand. Anyone know steady hand exercises?

Use your other hand to steady the hand the gun is in and brace your elbow on something...

The welds look a little on the 'cold' side, but pretty uniform.

goofy morning exercise

You mean the standard goofy morning routien doesn't work anymore? It's been working for me for several years /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif (hopefully it will keep working for several more /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif)

Not bad, not bad at all. Some look like you may have had too much gap between the rod and the work, causing the splatter. It was stick welding?
I tried wire welding for the first time yesterday, and I think I will have my trailer mounted welding rig for sale. The wire is sooooo nice.

What rene said. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I would say cold welds and dirty parts. Make sure you have a good ground. Looks to me like flux wire feed, maybe not enough heat.
