The cruise control / intermittent wiper stalk on my '86 Suburban (6.2) was not working correctly, so I ordered a replacement. It arrived today and after ripping open the package, I raced out to install it. I removed the painted metal panel and the plastic panel under the steering wheel, but can't seem to see where the existing plug is. Any tips? Thanks!

it should be about 6" from the firewall on the top of the steering collum.
it has a slot that slides over a small tab there but, if its not there look for a black connector with 4 wires the wire colors are 1-light gray with a black stripe 1-dark gery 1-light green 1-blue the conector its usualy shaped like the state of utah hope this helps
