I have been searching for reviews on the CSI winch but have found nothing. They come with a 1 year warranty, i am looking into purchasing a 12000 lb single pull, any input would be great. Thanks

85' feet is pretty short, and I'm sure it's made in the same plant as the rest of the re-badged Chinese winches. There has been lots of discussion on those.

I'd be looking for a used 8274, until they hit $700-800 at least (they are going for considerably less) I wouldn't consider a new import winch. The higher "rating" may be tempting but spend some real time with an 8274 (or really, any good Warn or Ramsey) and an import of any rating and you'll know what I mean.

We don't sell winches, for what it's worth.

There isn't much for review out there, although today I went to a 4x4 SWAP in Puyallup and it seemed this brand was selling good due to price. Most of the people I talked to who bought them, hadn't heard much review aside from the salesman of course:confused:

if you need a winch on a budget look at smittybilt. its got good reviews and they are fairly inexpensive. if your going to be using it alot i would definitely look for a used warn

Well I appreciate the advice, maybe some day they will be worth purchasing, but without any positive reviews i am going to have to pass, wish the ATM would have let me take out more cash, there were some great deals on used Warns.

I have a gorrilla 10k winch now promark offroad winch. Its decent but I think i'm going warn or smittybilt. The promark works good on my trailer though :)

I just bought a Smittybilt XRC12 for $499 at 4wheelparts. I have heard nothing bad about these winches.
