CUCV 10 or 14 bolt?

M1009 (K5) had 10 bolt diff's front and rear with 3.08's.

M1008 (K30) had 14 FF rear and D60 front...rear Detroit and 4.56's

Yup; to be more thorough ... the '09 Blazer was 10 bolts with 3.08, and (often? sometimes? always?) a Gov-Bomb out back.

The others (M1008, M1028, M1010 and ... what's the cab-n-chassis or whatever the fourth one, M1031 or something?) are all 60/14's, 4.56, Detroit in back, and sometimes, especially in the heavy ones (1028, 1031) some kind of traction diff in front.

Umm, they should be mounted with bolts? :haha:

These are your basic aftermarket parts store hooks, nothin' special.

More usefully, the factory mounted them vertically, with the hook part pointing back (when mounted in the front), if that's helpful.
