pm muddog. he just sold 2 sets on ebay less than 2 weeks ago.

he sells mil trucks and strips them also.

They were put on the M1008's. My 1009 frame didn't have them. I transplanted them with a few extra holes drilled in the frame.

You know once upon a time I had an M1008 for parts and it didn't have them, I wonder what combo/package required them? Mine was an ambulance or personel carrier.

Btw, thanks sweetk30 I've made arrangements to get a set from muddog. Now all I have to do is figure out how to make them work since I've moved my rear spring hangers forward (52" spring swap). :doah:

I just won a pair off eBay from Muddog also. Mine are sitting on my shop floor waiting to be installed someday in my '85 which does not have the pre-drilled holes as the eBay ad explained they were on the M's only.

I think Brian's (muddog) eBay username is something like brtruckparts or something like that.

Hey! Theres my name up there! Just got those brackets won and delivered, too.

Let me tell you guys right here: the day I won and paid for those brackets, I think on a Wed., I got them thru the USPS on Friday. How's that for delivery time?

Isn't he in the next state over from you? Either way, muddog is definitly a good guy to deal with. I bought a wiring harness for my M1028 off of him.

Brian lives in Kansas, too. Cadmus/La Cygne area, can't remember which. I've never met him but have exchanged numerous PM's and e-mails before. I can't wait to meet him someday as he has something I want to buy so I need to go to him to get it. Hint: I need to take a trailer along.
