How much work it be to make bumpers off of a 84 Blazer CUCV Work on my 78? I can get a set for dirt cheap.

Not much work really. I think it mostly bolts on using holes that are already there.

Do you get the D-rings and their mounts too? Those are the nice upgrade.

Uhh, CUCV bumpers will fit 81-87/91 trucks easily, as they *are* 81+ bumpers, just with extra holes.

They will NOT so easily fit onto 73-80's, especially in the front, as the frame horns are different. It won't be a bolt-up.

As merace says, they're nothing special. You would be better off cutting holes in your existing bumpers for the shackles if you can score those separately. I actually bent the bumper *on* my CUCV by a small fencepost impact :whistling: ... grrr.
