CUCV D60 Question

Can someone confirm for me that CUCV D60 inner and outer axle shafts are all 35 spline?

I bought my axle on eBay and when I went to pick it up, it was already off the vehicle and 'rebuilt' by the seller.
 
No dana 60 ever came with 35 spline outer shafts. The inners will be 35 spline.

Dana 70 front ends have 35 spline outers and those are the shafts we put in our dana 60's (since they fit right in there).

So all I have to replace are the outer shafts?

For some reason I was thinking in reverse: inner shafts are 30 spline, outer shafts are 35 spline :doah:.

If you want 35 spline outer shafts, you need to replace the shafts and the lockouts/drive flanges.
 
If I go with drive flanges and a Detroit Locker, will my D60 act like an open diff. with the T-case in 2H?

How about with a spool?

How about with a spool?

The detroit will act like an open diff in 2WD. A spool will not.

Ah, O.K..

So I would need lock-outs with a spool if I want the front axle to act like an open diff. in 2H then, right?

Yep, I am welded (basically a spool) and it is interesting trying to turn in 2wd with the hubs locked:D . The neighbors look at me like I am crazy:haha: .
