Did this job today. Had to remove everything down to and including the gauges. Two press in lights, one for each gauge, back behind them mounted in the plastic cavity the gauges live in. Neither bulb was bad, the sockets were just corroded. Sadly, this truck is getting to be on its last legs. I put everything back together and when I dropped it in gear, the gear indicator snapped (the plastic the little wire goes around cracked off). Then I noticed the puddle of coolant under the truck... and one of the turn signal indicators is continuously on, and they both blink extra slowly when the headlight are on. And if you step too hard on the floor pan, you'd surely punch your foot through due to rust. It's been a fun run.
