CUCV doesn't start after driven awhile

CUCV doesn\'t start after driven awhile

I have a friend who has a CUCV 6.2 Diesel. He drives it about 10 min to to the store spends about 30 min inside and when he tries to start it, it won't start. anybody have any ideas on what it might be?

He says that it turns over real slow like it has a low battery.

have him see if the batt cables get hot when it is cranking slow


I am thinking cables/corrosion or a bad starter
