CUCV - paint in diff and carrier

It looks like the majority of military D60's are painted inside along with the carrier. Any idea what they paint with? Good idea provided adhesion is rugged.:confused:
 
you want whats called "Glyptal 1201" its original use was sealing inside electric motors and windings. but now has hundreds of uses. when I worked for Nabors Drilling we used it to coat the insides of rebuilt mud pumps, transmission cases. its the red coating you'll generally see on the interior surfaces of gearboxes, manual trans, almost anything with oil in it.
