Will a rear bumper and those shackle mounts that protrude through the bumper from a CUCV (a pickup with a huge utility bed CUCV to be specific) bolt up to my K5 without modification?

My K5 is a '78 and I know the frame horns up front are different from the '81-'87's but I don't know if the rear of the frame is different depending on vintage. Do the rear truck bumpers share the same bumper mounting provisions as the K5's?

Just want to know if it's worth my time to go and pull this bumper.

Also, will the grill hoop or whatever it's called from a CUCV bolt up to a '78 K5? Would I have to notch the bumper to make it fit?

Short answer is no, not a direct fit.

Truck and Blazer bumpers are different mounting.

The brush guard can go with some cutting to the brackets (the shape isn't quite right for the 73-80 bumper.)

The shackle mounts will need some drilling and fiddling. I did it some years back, so it's possible, but will take some metal working.
