CUCV slave receptacle in newer grill?

Has anyone put a CUCV slave receptacle in an 89-91 grill?

I have a set of slave cables and would like to change one end to some heavy duty clamps like jumper cables and be able to plug into a slave receptacle without popping the hood.

I know slaves are meant for 24v, but since it will be on my truck, no one will be able to mistake it for a 24v system.
