I missed him saying multi fuel... but he thinks it gets 34 mpg and has 4.56 gears with 31" tires.

I was thinking about buying that but I am not so sure if he thinks its multi fuel and has been putting weird **** in there? If I did I sure wouldnt pay the $1750 FIRM, maybe offer him $1400 or something

I am going to try to jump on it and just swap everything from mine over to it if I can get it titled easily enough.

The auction paperwork and a bill of sale from him should be all you need to title it. There is no reason to use the "$300 title service" the guy is talking about.

Sweet, I think I might just end up putting the diesel in mine and swapping the axles if they really are locked w/4.56's. My blazer doesnt have much rust and looks cooler

That guy seems like a clown. First, I don't believe the sherriff's department ever owned it or they'd have re-painted it. I have a hard time believing they swapped 4.56's into the 10 bolts either.

34 mpg is possible...if it was shut off and coasting for at least 15 miles out of every 34.

What I see is a dead stock M1009, with plenty of rust, 6.2, TH400/NP208 and 10 bolts with 3.08's. The rust alone would shy me away from that rig even at $1000.

Good point I appreciate the input. I have been looking really hard for a donor truck w/ a good running 6.2 but I havent found anything so far that wasnt 2000 miles away. Guess I will just keep my eyes open and hope for a good deal to fall in my lap
