For those of you who have swapped in a 6bt, how much sag in the suspention did you get? I'd like to still be able to flex and was wondering what the consensus on 4"lift Tuff country 56's should finish out at run in Kerts B52 brackets up front. It would be 8" of lift before the engine weight. I need to be between 4 and 6" of lift after the drivetrain goes into the frame. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't comment on leaf springs. but when I dropped one on my IFS '97 crewcab. the torsion bars were no change from the 454 I took out of it. no extra sag at all.

I think look at it like the engine weighs about 500lb~ish more than a SBC/BBC, so think like you;re adding a large steel bush bumper and a Warn M15000 to it. actually I think that would be more weight on the suspension than putting a cummins in, adding that weight further out in front of the springs more leverage.
