Cummins Burb...

That would be cool, lol for having all that 13k wrapped up in the conversion you would think he would at least know the name of Cummins not Cummings..lol. I would think someone along the way woulda let him know.

Way to not show any pics of the highlight of the rig....

Yea I know thats pretty much the reason I looked at it just to see a cummins between the fenders but that was a no go

You would think that a truck with that clean of a body and supposedly a Cummins wouldn't be parked in some field out by the guys house. Man that sucker should have a spot in the driveway.

I know but look at your avatar, it doesn't have to be paved but it sure doesn't have to look like a jungle.

Whoo, slow your roll, It doesn't cost 13Gs to swap in a cummins. 6G's max if you factor in labor. I helped a buddy swap one into a '79 GMC. Some of the parts were a bit pricey, but within about 3 grand. It took some looking to gather up most of the parts. Ok, maybe he put in a brand new 6BT. Now that could cost some money. You can find used 12 valves all day for under 2K, whuch is what I would use.

There was a 92ish IFS burb with a cummins for sale in CA a while back, think on craigslist.

Had a stick in it too.....that made it cooler. But then again, a 92 burb with a stick looks kinda goofy......
