Well it's been a while since I was on here. I'm going to make this shirt since it has been a three year build so far. Started with a 1982 k30 m1010 (military ambulance). It had a 6.2/th400/208 on tons of course. I bolted some 37s on with double beadlocks and went wheeling full bodied.

I got but hard by the crawling scene so I upgraded. Swapped the axles for a mild built set I had. 4.56s Detroit in the front and mini spool rear with disc swap and 35 spline outters with Yukon flanges.

Ffw a little and I ditched the 6.2 for a 383 stroker that I sunk a lot of money into. I had fuel injection issues from day 1 and after fighting it for a year I decided to cummins swap it.

Currently it has an 18 point cage, 12 valve ve pump 75k mile emgine, th400/205. Dana 60/14bolt with above specs.

I'm forgetting a lot and am typing on a tiny iphone screen so I will let y'all look at some pics.

Just got a full hydro setup from psc that is the double ended ram with everything. Also got the artec truss for the front axle with the high steer arms and link kit. Going to be 3 linking the front before we hit the trails again. The trans is built to the max minus it's a stock HD case.

Y'all may have to wait on the pics, until I get to the computer.

Sounds cool. I haven't heard of a 1982 CUCV, does it have the 1982 bumper-mounted turn signals? That would be a tight squeeze with the clevis mount & blackout lights both in that area.

going to move this thread to the "build" section. See yall over there. Uploading photos to photobucket since the tapatalk app doesn't work with this site.
