There is a possibility that I may be getting a 2014 6.7L Cummins with tranny and t-case with 14,000 miles, for FREE! I read about Cummins swaps all the time, but they are all older 12 valves with mechanical pumps. Has anyone here tackled a swap with what I have described?

How familiar are you with late model Chrysler electronics and how accessible is diagnostic literature?

That will be tremendously helpful in stripping and installing the essentials.

The Chrysler literature we have access to is awful in details and really poorly structured compared to fords data which is actually very well engineered.

After that making it run isn't that big of a deal but fitment is a huge hurdle. Kidjethro is fitting a commonrail 5.9 into his red crew cab. I'd imagine the 6.7 is the same size give or take. Which is ****en yuge.

There was a guy doing one in a crew cab. Don't know that he ever got it finished. There was some extensive firewall work done on his truck, although there was also some debate as to whether it was all necessary...

Off of the top of my head, there is a lot more to the 24 valve cylinder head than the 12 valve ones, so clearance issue there, and the t-case is a driver's drop, so swap that or put a ford axle under your truck...

I am not too familiar but can learn. Or, I can sell it and build a pretty sweet engine!
