looking for pics and build threads for putting a cummins in a 91 k30.once i get the body work done i want to replace the 6.2 witha cummin 6bt.i searched and havent found anything.thanks

does the increase in power justify the weight? the 6bt is a full 400lbs more than a 6.2/6.5. assuming a street vehicle, 400lbs is nothing to cough at.

Makes a big difference , engine life, fuel mileage, power, easy to work on.400lb isn't nothing, just think about the extra weight that everybody carries,people.
 
exactly.....weight isn't anything. think about how many people stick a huge steel bumper way out in front of the diff with a big winch on it. thats added leverage being in front of the suspension. 400lbs on the engine is nothng. thats just putting a big fat farmboy in the passenger seat. does your truck ride any different. No.
