custom bed

Has anyone made a custom pick-up bed for there shortbox? I'm thinking somthing on the lines of the M-715 Military Jeep pick-up or military trailer type design?? Thoughts, ideas or pics?

ive always wanted to narrow a fleetside to box size and fit steps to it,also thoght about narrowing and shortning a dually bed to work like stepside on srw swb(have to bob it also, 2 look right), stepside and fleetside all in 1...i've made a plain box and mounted steps to it, no pics tho
