Custom Bumper picture thread!

I thought it would look awful but in person it looks decent. The guy was seriously stoked about it. He loves it
Every winter there are guys selling trucks with bent frames. Apparently hitting deer with a big heavy bumper is cool but hitting an ELK just bends the frame.

I’m liking this. Compact and tucked in. Wonder if he can still put the tire carrier in that?

It's a little higher and tucked in more that it's built for. The bumper is exactly how I asked him to build it but I wasn't crazy about it's position when bolted on so I redrilled the frame and moved it up ~1.5" and inward 2".

We have some pretty good sized muleys too but yah elk or moose that's brutal.

Here's my front "bumper". It's an "A Bomb" from Diy4x that's sunk back in to the grill as far as possible.

At some point (low priority), I want to build off of it to make a complete bumper. I'd really like to added a brush guard to it also (similar to pic below) but only if I can do it low profile and it look decent.

First pic is my front: DIY4x abomb bumper with custom tubes I built off it (sorry for the mud, it's usually all black :pimp:)

Last two pics are my rear bumper. Center section is 2x6 tubing capped off right at the frame rails, then tubing on the outsides for protection (also my rear cage ties into the supports underneath).

I like those! The combination of plate/square tube and round tube is perfect!

Currently still working on mine but here it is so far.. need to add a round tube grille guard and some more bracing at the bottom

Here’s mine, home built. I wasn’t sure about it at first but it’s growing on me and my kids and friends seem to think it’s cool. Didn’t want to cut front valance or that kick ass 74 grill so built around them as tight as possible.
