Can someone set me straight as to what is what,

I have a 78 custom deluxe 350 th350 203 348's.
Whats the difference between the Deluxe, Scottsdale etc?????
How many were there of each ?

I have an 85 custom deluxe....the custome part is the rally rims...the deluxe part is the steering wheel, motor, and drivetrain.... I think it was just the trim and level of creature comforts included (i.e. leather seats, butt scratcher, etc.)

w00t, How's virginia beach doin these days? I went to First Colonial, graduated in '97...

Anyway, I have an '87 and the dash says Custom Deluxe. I dunno about the rims, as I bought it with 35" tires, but the interior is basic... vinyl seats, basic steering wheel.

Custom delux is your "base" model.

its what my blazer is, no power windows, no power locks, no power anything..but mine did come with factory A/C, but i have been told some custom delux models did not have a/c.

Personally I prefer this model, don't have all the eletrical crud that can short out and quit working. :D

Can't answer the how many. They're all trim levels and are different from years to year -- in the 70's, Cheyenne was the fancy one for Blazers/Burbs (Cheyenne Super for pickemups, IIRC) but in the 90's it was the base stripped down line.

Everything you wanted to know, like what trim comes with what, are in the Brochures for your particular year .

AS far as I know Custom Deluxe is basic. No options. My 78 is Custom Deluxe and it had vinyl seats, no panel vents, no AC, no power options and stock skinny rims. But once again I have been wrong before and my K5 was from Government and they usually get no options for pricing reasons.

Mine is like a pick up inside, no panels other than door, short vinyl seats it did have factory air but it doesnt work. In the bed area ther are no panels no carpet just white floor. Real basic. Was wanting to know as the PO really messed with a lot of things.
