Custom F350 4x4 Firetruck Winch Bumper

For those of you who don't get over to the vendor section much. Here's the latest rig in the shop. 2008 F350 4x4. The local fire department asked we build them something with a big brush guard and something that could take some abuse from the younger firefighters.

I think we did well. This is pretty much bash proof. All 3/8" plate (including the full skid plate) and triangulated wrap-around protection bars. Oh, and we coated it with our custom spray on bedliner...

It is wrapped around a new Ramsey DC200 worm drive winch. It is rated for 8000 lbs, but certified to pull 16000. It's also all ball bearings - not bushings.

I'd like to see you fab a bumper for the ugly ass bumpers on the brand new Silverados. Something to bring the bottoms up higher than what they sit now.

A bumper for a 2008 Chevy 3500 HD 4x4 is next. This will be for a neighboring fire department. It may be a little more challenging, but we're up for it!

semi-serious: mount on a bulldozer blade and cut holes for headlights. weld pencil thick mesh over headlight holes.
