i need to do this for a competency here in wyotech, and when i get it finished i was wondering if any of you wanted it... i can make it any way you want it, any length you want it. let me know if you are even remotely interested.

Perfect for a street rod or something.

I may also be able to throw some custom four link brackets on the tubes, so when you figure out the width you want them, you could weld them yourself. Remember, this ****'s all custom baby!

oh and it will mostly be tig welded, if i can do it all tig, i will.

I'm interested....

I was about to buy a Spider 9 like this .....

I want to build a full width, flipped 9 for a mid engine drivetrain layout, extreme left side offset, full floater.

The application will be a tube frame buggy, 4wd, mid engine BBC, 600 Hp, <3000 lb.

Kinda like this, but the 4 link will be inverted, the diff will be offset to the drivers' side, and it will be 4wd w/ the front being a solid axle w/ center mounted diff [the front is another story...]

can you build one to 68-72 chevelle specs. stock 12bolt width and the mounts for the upper and lower trailing arms.

alright, i already started welding it up, the center section is in the middle. 3" DOM tubing, 1/8" plate center section, 1/4" face plate. and if you got me the specs i probably could make it to fit your needs. i have 2 foot of the DOM on each side. I can also back and/or top brace it if you like. The only 9" housings built here are semi floaters, BUT I was asking my instructor what i could do to it to make it unique and he said i could make a full floater. I could do four link brackets, shock towers, anything pretty much.

If I do a good enough job I might be picked for outstanding project and go to lunch with an instructor on his wallet anywhere i want!

semi floater is fine, I dont have the specs for the trailing arm mounts. any chevelle 68-72, or 70-72 monty will have the correct rear end specs. if you can find one of those then you could figure the mount locations. I can keep loking for the specs and if I find them I can e-mail them to you. you might be able to find something on currie or strange's websites.
