I have a 76 k5 blazer. it's a new York state truck so the frame is getting rough. I love this truck and don't want to let it go. Looking for replacement frames or companies that make frames for them. Can anyone help?

Afaik, no one makes any kind of replacement frame.

Check with some salvage yards. I found a frame in excellent shape from a K5 that was totaled due to an engine fire. $300 and within 15 miles of my house.

I'm already working on it. Was seeing if anyone made reproduction frames if I can't find one my third option is to box mine in. There is no hole. Just getting thin

Ask Diy4x (@cybrfire). He made one reproduction frame out of 2x4 and 2x6 tubing, it was really well done, and also functioned as an air compressor reservoir.

I don't know whether he plans to offer such commercially, but given his custom fab work it seems like the sort of thing he would add to the catalog if enough people asked.

I'd like the opportunity to build a frame for somebody.

I really like the box tubing frame much better than the factory frame. For a few different reasons. Much more rigid. Much cleaner looking, not being full of holes and such.

Give me a call!
