Custom full length grille thoughts?

The cut outs are for my dual coldish air inlets in case anyone is wondering wtf is going on with that

The drawing looks decent. You ever think water will get in those air intakes?

That's like a CAD design it's all being machined. But nah water never goes inside the tubes plus now im stationed in the desert so I don't see much water.

Thanks for your service, do you have it with you? (where you at)?

Thanks for the support! An I'm in NM now, but yeah i have it with me i daily this shitbox haha since 2010 I've had it

Only thing I can say, is it sort of looks like this grille.....
Might not when built and installed. But looks a lot like the new bronco grille.

You might be right, I just hate the cheap plastic crap we have stock. Either way it's an absolute win my current one is held together by zip ties. And has two terrible holes cut into it for air flow haha

I seen one near me like that once. I liked it. I'm thinking of doing a similar idea for mine since my grille is broken. I'd also like to do something different than stock for my quad headlight setup since the buckets and adjusters are broken too.

The dude making them gets back to me fast if you want I can send you a link you can tell him what you want he can make it on CAD then adjust from there to suit you.

Thanks but I'm good for now and not sure my exact path I will go yet. I do have some stainless expanded metal at work i might use, also we have a burn table. I just need to decide what I want to do.

I would advise adding some stiffeners. With so little material, it can get bent and won't want to be flat again. You will have one vertical bend in the center due to the shape of the front clip (a slight V shape), but nothing else is giving any stiffness. You could add some solid vertical sections just inside the light sections to accomodate this. I would also look into the radius of the fog lamp housings and headlights and try to match them. If it's all machined, there's little added effort. Will this allow adjustment and changing of the headlights? It looks like you will be attaching to the front surface of the front clip, so you'll be drilling holes along the bottom. How will it attach? Rivnuts, factory style plastic inserts, or what?
