Awhile back I remember finding a company through a Google search that would build you a custom q-jet based on your engines/vehicles specs. You could send them your carb/core, they'd build it for ya. For the life of me I can't find them again. I know about http://www.smicarburetor.com/ and have checked them out, but it's not the company I remember....Anyone have any other ideas/links? My carb is soooo wrong for my 454 it's rediculous. It runs soooo fat, that you can't stand behind the truck at all. It cuts out above 4500rpm, falls flat on its face like a switch. It's a good carb, Edelbrock 1902 Q-Jet, just not right for my bb.
