Doing a bunch of sheet metal replacement in my 75 k5. Planning on doing custom wheel tubs out back, anybody done any they can post pics of?

I used a second set of wheel wells and tubbed mine about 3" per side.

Those came out good! I was kinda wanting to fab some out of 16g metal though because mine were pretty rusty...I can save them but I'm not sure how worth it it is in the end.

I figured why re-invent the wheel...new or good used wheel houses are pretty easy to find. The length and height is fine.

Oh im with ya, I wish this wasn't what I had to deal with but a lot of the inner panel is rusted along with all the factor mounting spots, would have probably been better to get a new body alltogether but I don't have the funds for that.

aftermarket tubs aren't horrible, and pretty cheap iirc.. good starting point for a gig like Rene's...

His bed looks like it's in a lot better shape then mine though haha

That bed had a few patch areas, new tailpan installed etc. It wasn't perfect either. it looked decent there once the work was done, and had a fresh coat of paint on it. Very few of these are pristine anymore...

So far ive got the tail pan, tailgate posts, and rear floor section done, still need to do where the roll bar mounts behind the front seat and both inner side panels.... And when ya live in the northern half of the country rust is pretty much inevitable...

Say while I'm asking questions what's your guys thoughts on door jam repair, both my strikers are rusting where they bolt to the body. Wanted to find a truck can to rob these from but that's not working so good either...
