anybody know any places that make custom shackles for 52 spring swap

Just make them your self, they are not that hard, just get some 2" wide 3/8 thick strap and cut them to 7.25" long I think.

Except if your doing the 52" springs in the front, you'll need spacers like in the pics in the for sale link

Special shackles are unnecessary with my 52" spring install bushing kit.

uhm, i believe the 7.25" shackles made of 3/8 x 2 strap would be considered "special", but a breeze to make. made 2 sets for myself, and it only took me about 40 mins.

the spacers for the front bushings that are pictured are unnecessary. i bought the 52" swap kit from Tim. the measurements from the bushings are off of my truck and jjlaughner's, guaranteed they'll fit. no spacers needed anywhere. good quality stuff too!

dumb question but were could you get a piece of metal like that

your local steel shop, check out your phone book and I am sure there are a few of them.

I used a local spring shop. They cut, drilled, and painted my shackles for $4 each. They had them done within 4hours of my phone call. They were a perfect fit. I could have done them myself, but my time was limited and for the cost it was well worth it.
