Custom Shifter Knobs Anyone?

Search and you'll find a fair amount of custom knobs but I don't recall seeing many novelty knobs like that.

For me, I like the ones offered by litegrip.com

8-balls & the like are popular; used to be a vendor here who made them, actually, or you could drill/tap one yourself if you could figure out how to do it without scratching the thing.

For the transfer case (as opposed to transmission -- donno which you wanted) there's also billet aluminum, like

Oh, and I've seen hand grenades and skulls as well :dunno: Not *my* style -- I have WFO's billet set for my doubler -- but hey, each their own.

most of the ones like those now SUCK for fitment. install a universal adaptor and use few ultra tiny set screws and pray it stays on there.

Back when I had a SM465 in my K5's I used a weedwhacker pistion to make a custom shifter knob....a friend used the pistons from a radial A/C pump for shifter knobs on his truck too.

Seen other cars at shows having everything from golf balls ,cue balls, and T handles made of billet aluminum for shifter knobs...seems everyone has their favorite one,one guy I knew had a giant "eyeball" for one,it was pretty creepy!..

I have an old non functioning revolver. Beyond repair. Belonged to my great uncle. Goining to figure out how to mount it on the freightliner shifter. Shifter in the barrel so it's pointed down.
