I have a 1970 K5 that I picked up late summer. It was a abandoned project sitting for a few years in a garage in rural Ontario, Canada. Body looked reasonable and it had a rebuilt 350, 4 speed manual. Long story short I jumped in head first and now find myself with a concussion.

The PO looks to have cut out most of the front posts and floor out and created a 4 inch torque box/lift in the front section. The lift was not carried out to the entire body and when the rear body mounts (hockey pucks) were tightened the repair work on the rockers cracked and the top of the door gap was 2-3 inches wide. The torque box is also open where it meets the cab floor letting in water mud etc. I will need to remove the custom work and want to restore the body to factory.

I was considering a new replacement floor however from the online photos I do not see the factory torsion C channel included in the aftermarket replacements. I am considering looking for a donor floor from a C10 as they are plentiful and can get a good portion of the firewall and needed torsion channel as well.

Any input/recommendations would be very helpful. I feel like I am way over my head.
