I need a set that will stick out at least 4" from the body to help keep the law at bay

I got a set from here. They were enough to cover my 17" wide tires from sticking out of the fender wells, well almost. Covered enough to keep from mudflaps for now. I used ther blind side setup since my fenders were "slightly" trimmed.
I actually got the link from another member (bigpapaB)a while back and ended up using them on mine

Do you have any pics of this on your truck.
I am going to make the rear of my sub a dully and I am to cheep to buy the dully flares for it. After some fig out I need just about 4-5" to cover per a side and want to cut out the rust on the top lip while I am at it.
BTW Witch ones did you order
