Petersen's had a good article on cutting brakes and I was wondering who has them and what they think? I searched and found alot of articles in the forum concerning how they work and a few folks that had them installed or planned on it. Noone ever mentioned what they thought and whether it was worth the money. So? Are they worth it or not? I'm thinking of modifying the e-brake cables with two hand brakes to do the same thing, but a single stick hydro setup would be more convenient (manual trans+steering wheel+cutting brake= not enough hands) but costly.

I bought cutting brakes from CNC brakes but havn't installed them yet. I think thats what Stephen @ ORD has in wally and ive seen people on here with them. I did my whole mechanical engineering senior design project on cutting brakes but still havn't installed the brake system in my project.

I too will be going with the cnc cutting brakes, but probably not this year. I want to get the truck out on the trails and test it out first, then next year put on cutting brakes
